Robonova-1 (with extras!) for sale... and a laptop too!

Ok people, here's the story. A new job, new home, family, girlfriend, life in general, etc, etc has left me with absolutely no time to devote to my beloved Robonova-1, so I'm putting him for sale. I hate to part with him, but it just doesn't make sense to leave him sitting there doing nothing.

Check out what you get:
1) One very gently used, practically new Hitec Robotics Robonova-1, which was very very carefully built by me. He's in fantastic shape and works perfectly. He hardly has any signs of use. Of course I'm including the remote, cable, instructions, cd-rom, battery, power adapter/charger, and anything else that came in the original box. And you get the original box with all the styrofoam inserts, etc.
2) Two of Matt Bauer's totally sweet grippers (see http://bauerindependents.com/SHOP/robonova_gripsbuy.htm)
3) Two Hitec HSR-8498HB servos for the grippers. I installed one of the grippers w/servo and started building the second one, but I just didn't have the time to finish it up and bolt it on.
4) Two GWS PG-03 Piezo gyros. These are brand new, still in the box.
5) One BlueSMiRF Bluetooth device (SKU#: RF-BlueSMiRF), also brand new and never installed.
6) A couple of extra servo cables for various hookups.

BONUS! I'll throw in one brand new, never-used Snap-on-Tools #1 screwdriver. This is a high quality screwdriver that won't strip down like the cheap-o ones out there. Anyone who's built a Robonova-1 knows that this is a must-have.

Note: At this point I'm selling all of this together, so please don't email me asking for just the grippers or gyros or whatever. Thanks.

If you need to see it just email me. It's still packed up from my recent move, but I'll take it out and take a few pictures and send them to you if you really want to see it all (and if my old, crappy camera cooperates).

Your price, not including shipping: $1000.00. Shop around, do the math, and you'll see that this is a pretty awesome deal. I'm in the U.S., so domestic shipping (UPS or FedEx) with insurance will probably be somewhere around $50-60, but that's kind of a guess so don't hold me to that. I have no idea what it would cost to ship internationally.

First come, first served! Please email me instead of posting a response here... I'm not lurking here as often as I used to.

Next... the laptop I used for running my RN-1...
If you need a PC to run your new RN-1, I'm also selling a Dell XPS M140 laptop with over 2 years left on a 3 yr extended warranty (good until 4/17/09). The warranty coverage can be transferred to you upon purchase. The specs are listed below. It's in great shape, just a few minor scuffs. It comes with its original box and all inserts, and of course all the original accessories (power adapter, remote control, etc).

1.73GHz Intel Pentium M 740 Centrino Processor (2MB Cache/533MHz FSB)
14.1" Widescreen TFT WXGA Active-Matrix Display (1280 x 800 pixels)
512MB DDR2 SDRAM (2 DIMMs/533MHz)
60GB Ultra ATA Hard Drive (5400RPM)
24x CD-RW/DVD Combo Drive (read/write CDs, read DVDs)
Intel 2200 PRO/Wireless Internal Wireless (802.11b/g)
Integrated 10/100 Ethernet
Integrated 56K Modem
Integrated Intel Media Accelerator 900 Graphics
One VGA 15-Pin Monitor Connector
One S-Video 7-Pin Mini-DIN Connector
External Media Controls (Volume, Playback, Fast Forward and Rewind)
Two Internal 1.5W Speakers
One Stereo Headphone/Speakers Audio Jack
One Microphone Audio Jack
Four USB 2.0 Ports
One IEEE 1394 Port
One Express Card Slot
9-Cell Extended Battery (80 WHr) 65W AC Adapter
Windows XP Media Center 2005

The price for the laptop is $550, and probably about $50-60 for domestic shipping. If you buy my Robonova-1 AND my laptop I'll pay half the shipping cost.

Ok, I'm getting tired of typing. Finally, I promise you that I'm not trying to dump a busted robot (or laptop) on some poor, eager, unsuspecting robot geek. There's nothing wrong with this guy. He is in fantastic shape and you won't be disappointed.

Best,
Steve
