The list price in Korea is about $3500
(1800GBP). I'll have the UK retail price in a few days but should be
somewhere around that number.

It is really intended as a teaching tool and not so much for a
hobbyist because the sum of the value of the parts in the kit does not
equate to what one would get by buying say 2 Advanced kits. The main
benefit of the Expert kit is that it comes with an extensive cariculum
for teaching robotics.
