these are the Digikey part numbers (www.digikey.com) which seem to then give molex references???? and I know RS in the UK do the molex range and some of the more unusual ones. Haven't had a chance to chase through yet.

terminal (3 pin): WM18874-ND
crimp connectors: WM18889CT-ND (Q. 100)
crimp conncetors: WM17406-ND (Q. 10)

Have just ordered from Digikeys UK (i.e. price in GBP) and those are the parts I've ordered, so thats a weight off my mind. Now we'll see what their international delivery is like.

Digikey has a sweet setup for Canada. Their warehouse is in Thief River Falls, which is just south of the Canadian border (and the city of Winnepeg). So, every evening, they drive a truck full of the day's Canadian orders across the border, and dump them at the Purolator facility.

I ordered my parts at 5:00 pm on Monday, and they showed up at my door at 10:00 am the next morning... (and I live 2000 km east of Winnepeg, at least by road).

Cool, will be interesting seeing how their international shipping is as my order was less than £75 GBP they slapped on a £10 GBP handling fee and £12 GBP shipping. Having said that if it gets me what I need its worth it

I just ordered a pile fo connectors and some other bits to restock my bins, all from Farnell UK. The order was over £20 so delivery is free and they will be with me tomorrow.

The farnell connector parts are:
997-9620 The header £0.13 each
997-9557 The plug £0.11 each
997-9530 The little metal bits £4.34 for 100

All plus VAT of course.

I was suprised Farnell did the connectors as they aren't in my old 2005 catalogue. I will have to try and blag an up to date version.

Blast and other such words - never thought of checking Farnell - That'll teach me.

Sorr Pev, I didn't intend on causing distress. To be honest I despair sometimes at what great things can be obtained in the US for next to nothing, I was as shocked as anyone to find the connectors at Farnell.

For example, yesterday I was looking for the new Quadravox QV606 MP3 playing sound module that is about $57 from the US. So I was preparing to pay the best part of £100 to get it shipped etc. However, I have found that Milford instruments are getting them in for about £35 plus a couple of quid postage, which is a steal, the milinst people really do seem to be putting the effort in to stop this $ to £ direct translation that goes on all the time.

I like the Milford instruments people. One of my first ever robot kits come from them - the Stamp Bug - still got it and it still works great.

No distress here, just wish I'd thought to check around a bit more.
