Yes,
your laptop can run the Robotis software.
If you dont have a serial port, you may need to get a USB to Serial addapter.

dont have anything against parallax, but what's the point in advertising parallax on a Bioloid forum ?

thanks a bunch....by the way...i just ordered the comprehensive kit with a set of those japanese screwdrivers.....choco
