Has anyone done any range research on the zig-100 modules? Over the weekend (at RoboGames here in SF) the only user using the zig-100 was experiencing major range issues.

Of course with a sample of one user it's difficult to draw conclusions.

What are your experiences with Zigbee ranges and Bluetooth ranges? Has anyone tried Xbee/Zigbee communication?
