I have uploaded some shots of my bioloid. It started out named "beetle dozer" but it's final form is more of a duck-ape.

Here's one of it standing and peering forward into the void.

The head with an untested shroud to help improve resolution for detecting line edges and reading barcodes.

Here's a picture of a wire guard to protect the wiring harness. It can be taken mostly off without having to remove the CM-5.

Here's a bottom view showing the construction in more detail.

I am programming it to wander around my house following tape lines and sing different songs in different rooms.

When I saw your top pic I immediately thought of this robot.

Thanks for the link. I'd seen one of those videos and it did kind of inspire me to putting the legs + wheels together. Mine have active wheels so the legs are more of an active suspension instead of driving the robot forward. I'm going to try combining a walking gait with wheeled movement to get him going something more than slow :)

Thanks for the link. I'd seen one of those videos and it did kind of inspire me to putting the legs + wheels together. Mine have active wheels so the legs are more of an active suspension instead of driving the robot forward.
