After accidently breaking 2 of my AX12 servos (one had a broken tooth, the other had electronic problem) I decided to cannibalise parts from each to make a new working AX12 servo.

For those of you who are interested here is a photo of one of the AX12 servos that has been dissected:

Note: This is a disected AX12 servo not the newer AX12+ servos.

The actual motor looks like a simple core brush type? any chance of an upgrade?
The actual motor looks like a simple core brush type? any chance of an upgrade?
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
