I want to remove the CM5, replace it with a Gumstix and get my Bioloid walking asap. The fastest method I came up with was to capture the CM5 commands sent to the AX-12 when it runs a motion file. Then replay these AX-12 commands directly from my PC (to start with) and then a java program on the Gumstix. I think the discussion below touches on how to do this....

Has anyone out there successfully done this?
Is there a better\easier way like writing an S-Curve player (if that's the correct terminology) to run an existing motion file to imitate the same functionality as the CM5?
Cheers
