I've been watching videos on-line and he doesn't seem to have a torso twist, but then I keep finding images of Bioloid twisting his torso. Are there two different versions of the Bioloid? Yours obviously has this feature. Did you have to mod it? If so, how did you do it and how is it working out for you?
Nice photos. Thanks for posting.
Thanks!
Unless you find an old (2006) Bioloid, it will only come with 18 servos.
I bought an extra servo for the use of the torso, it cost about $50 USD.
It fits perfectly in the spot where I put it (very easy too), although once you power it on the CM-5 gets an err.
So for programming you have to unplug it if you are using "Humanoid", or you can use another template, I think Pev has one some place around here...
From when I've used it I'd say it's great!
I am currently working on some Kung-Fu to use at a Robo-One style game, which this servo should really help with.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
Best,
