Hi all,
Is it possible to kill a dynamixel? I have no answer from this one. I have try to reset the ax-12, set a new ID check wire connector etc...

From another thread you said there was error 8100

Well, from the user's manual:

Code = 8100
Meaning = Access to the unavailable Dynamixel ID
Check Point = Check whether an using ID of AX-12+ or AX-S1 that does not exist ist in robot. Check the cutting line

You can download this manual from:

"http://211.238.207.44/~robotis/ROBOTIS/Manual/BioloidUsersGuide(ver1-1)EN.zip"

The other more common problem is have changed unintentionally baud or id parameters from one or more AX12+
