Hello, I just received my Bioloid Comprehensive kit today and have begun building it. I was wondering if anyone have any good tips on building the humanoid configuration of the Bioloid. The tips that I'm particularly looking for are:
1) When mounting the servos that are perpendicular to each other, such as for the ankle and thigh, the bus cable that runs between the two seems like a VERY tight fit. When attaching the perpendicular servos together, I have to squeeze the two HARD in order to screw in the brackets into the lugs. Anyone have a better way?
2) When attaching brackets that attaches servo to servo, does anyone recommend that I put more nuts into the servo lugs then instructed? For instance, to attach Servo 9 to Servo 11, each side of the bracket attaches to four lugs (two on the servo 9 side, two on the servo 11). Should I do two and three nuts, respectively, instead? The attachment on the servo 9's side allows three nuts...
3) Any other tips and suggestions for assembly? Some of the hinge brackets are instructed to be assembled, but I wonder how would you route the bus cable inside the cable router that is shaped into various hinge pieces, when the opening of those cable router shaped into other pieces oppose each other? For instance, in Step 2 of the instructions, F4 and F1's cable routing opening seems to oppose each other when you mate these two pieces together...
Any tips or additional suggestions during the build would be helpful!
