Hi folks,
Has anyone here attempted a gear mod (external or internal) to speed up the RPM of the AX-12?
I am using continuous rotation mode, so I don't care if the pot or control algorithm is damaged by the mod.
The AX-12 is (almost) the perfect servo for me, due to its simple serial interface, tolerance of high voltages, and included mounting hardware. It already has way more torque than I need, but I would love to make it 2-4 times faster.
Alternately, is anyone aware of a fast, continuous-rotation, PWM servo that has a similar form factor and semi-compatible mounting hardware? (I can probably add a voltage regulator for low voltage servos.)
Thanks,
Nathan
