I notice once I turn the Bioloid on and send commands to an AX-12 via the CM5 the AX-12 the move command was sent to stiffens to the point of being un-moveable by hand. I assume this has to do with the torque setting. So to loosen up the AX-12 so it may be re-positioned by hand again one would have to reset the torque value on the AX-12 yes???

You can set the torque enable control table entry to 0 to set it to freewheel. This is register 24 (0x18).

To set it back to "controlled" motion, you need to write a 1 to this location.
