In Roboloid Robot Terminal there is apparently a way to send commands but I could not find it. I get the general info text that is correct but I cannot send any command. Anyone has tried this

Well, I answer myself. I was trying to connect in Standby mode instead of using Manage mode.

Curiously the CM5 is able to give answers when using standby mode but you cannot send commands unless Mange mode is used.

I have checked several commands and it works as expected. Command mode is great to check parameters and there are lots of parameters in these servos!

There are various ways in. The most general is the following.

Start the terminal program.
Start the CM-510.
Type v (lower case vee) for verbose mode.
Type M (upper case this time) for manage mode.

The help command works at this point.

At the prompt, type "dump"

[CID:001(0x01)] dump

This will write the control table register values to the terminal window.

Type "GO 512" to move ID 1 to position 512.

See the Bioloid manual for other robot terminal commands. You have to be in TOSS mode to enter an instruction in HEX.
