Sorry for reply in late Inaki. 8O
There is various requirements for improvement about Bioloid but there is no part about charging yet. However, problem can occur because power condition is all bit different in the country.

I’m wondering about experience of other people.
Anyone has got a same experience ??

For reference, Bioloid finish the charging if is been satisfied with at least one condition after it check temperature ,voltage, and progress time. Factory launched after confirms all these conditions and completes all charge.
Have you ever separated chargeable battery from CM-5?

Mine gets ‘comfortably’ warm, but not in a worrying way. Though it gets indeed hotter then the other chargeable stuff I have (it’s also the biggest battery pack among them). Maybe your temp sensor has a problem? If you want to decide if you have a real problem here, could you try measuring the max. temp with a simple mercury thermometer so we can compare?

I think I do not have such a termometer here. I can calculate that temperature is about 70deg.C or so. It is very uncomfortable to touch.

Sorry for reply in late . actually I was bit busy to providing new version of english manual in thesedays.
Regarding to hot battery when it charging,

It stops to charge automatically if it is exceed 60 degrees , and it dosen't matter even there is a little difference in SMPS's service voltage .
Therefore, something is problem if it is certain temperature rises until 70 degrees. We are going to send new Cm-5 and Battery to you possibly in short time after we discuss with Limore.
Could you please send that set (cm-5 AND Battery)to us ? We would like to have look what the peoblem is to solve that kinds of problem.
you can send it by local currier(DHL or FEDEX) using collecting service. Our account number is listed Below.
DHL: 962-233-096
Fedex:3412-2964-2
If you have any question Please reply to my post or email me:)
Sorry for you inconvience and thanks for your help inaki!

Do you use a thermistor for temperature control ? I think I might fix it myself if you tell me which one you use.

Hi all, I just bought a Bioloid Set. Now I am reading the English user manual. But the manual does not mention how long does it take to charge the NiMh Battery.

Anyone has a clue to the initial charge time?
