I would like to inform you about working progress of the Bioloid .

Bioloid has been experimentally launched from 2006 in Korea and we have recieved many feedbck

Upgrade item plans to complete end of May in Korean , is ended during June for the English.
upgrade items are manual and example program mainly, and Firmware's bug will be a lot as well.

Also, we are planning to modify the homepage base on these plan and intend to open Korean part on new homepage.
Plan of English part is expecting by end of July.

all products for bioloid and all data include english manual made by Robotis but since Bioloid is not
provided properly yet,you may get a answer
that wait by june if you order to us.

Because product was not perfect at the moment,we dispatched sample with excuse note that upgrade

Therefore,a company who have Bioloid sould be upgrade target customer.

Where is Behavior Control 1.26 ? The last version I got is version 1.25.

On the other hand, the version 1,13 of CM5 I downloaded was located in another web site, not Robotis.

Where can I download the latest versions of Robotis software ? In the 'Program' section of www.robotis.com there are only older versions-

@ roboLucy

Hello,

thank you for your posting and also for your open words! I am also eagerly looking forward to the improvements. Despite the problems your company has done a great work on developing the Bioloid Kit.

@ Inaki

as I understood roboLucy's posting, the fixes/upgrades are scheduled for end of may or june 2006 (depending on the language) and web-site improvements for july 2006.

For what it's worth this is my opinion:
It requires some seriously big b*ll*cks for a foriegn manufacturer to partake and represent themselves on an open forum such as this. I believe that this demonstrates a SERIOUS commitment to their client base (no matter how small) and would suggest that for those that are able/prepared to stick with them, that you will be at the forefront of modular robotic technology. I wish you all the best and will monitor the situation and development very closely and with keen interest. Good luck you Bioloid Pioneers!!

Yes of course, Takedown!

But I thought it was obvious that I actually implied something else. In case it wasn't: I focused on the question whether it is of your keen interest to build robots ... and gave an answer

Thanks for the chat

Lucy,

It is great news to hear from robotis here and to see your committment to making everything work for us all. Looking forward to all the new activity we can expect from this involvement. Can't wait to see what Robotis have for us all to experiment with in the future.

Many Thanks
