I found a new Bioloid sofware installer that was released yesterday on the Robotis website here.

Includes a new Motion Editor v1.20, along with the new BCP v1.26 we already have and the old Robot Terminal v1.01.

Oh, by the way, IT ALSO INSTALLS A TON OF NEW ROBOT FILES!!!
Battle Droid (I've never seen this one before)
    Dinosaur (I've seen in videos)
Gerwalk (new, some kind of bipedal walker)
Humanoid (18DOF,like 19DOF but missing waist joint)
King Spider (hexapod from the videos)
    Little Deer (new and cute)
Puppy (we all know what this is!)
Robot Flower (new, three fingers with sensor in middle)
Spider (a new hexapod, much simpler than King)
    Turtle (a very simple quadruped)
    Walking Droid (from the videos)

Includes both .rbt description files and .X 3D files for all robots. No new programming examples or building instructions are included with this release but I'll bet they're working on it.

Thanks Stevo3d,

Have just downloaded it and it certainly has a lot more RBT files.... And the new layout of the motion editor looks pretty good too (minor changes but I think quite good ones especially like the fact you can play a page while editing a different one, very useful, wish I'd had that when I was doing the Hexapod's motion capture )

Thanks again

Pev

Thanks a lot stevo3d for discovering and putting it so quickly on the board. But, I must be doing something wrong, cause I get a ‘the parameter is incorrect’-message when I try to run the setup.exe  . Downloaded it twice and tried on 2 different comps.

No problems here. I downloaded it to WinXP, double-clicked into the zip file in Windows Explorer, double-clicked setup, and it worked. I've seen that error before with other installers. Try this webpage for troubleshooting tips:

Thanks a lot Steve, that solved it :D . My path length was too long (126 char). Apparently happens when you try to organize everything in a big tree behind the C:\Documents and Settings\Myname\My Documents\...of winxp. Plus the occasional: ...\robotis\Bioloid\software update\114947256417\Bioloid Software(english)\... , must admit, gets pretty long.

Pev, I just figured out what you meant by this. On the right side, instead of just a play button there's now a Play Motion Page Number box where you can enter a different motion number. Very nice! Thanks for pointing that out. You could also type "play 3" or whatever into the "Command>>" box without switching the motion page.

On the Motion Editor's Setup menu, there's a menu item called Offset Configuration. Does anyone know what that's for?
