Hi guys,

First post to the forum, so let me introduce me, I'm Mauricio and I write from Chile, I have a linux robotics/automation studio software proyect (http://www.monobotics.ic.uach.cl/) and now a new happy owner of a Bioloid Expert robot kit!!!..

But I do all my work mostly on linux, I'm a programmer and I only need some examples of a gcc linux program for the bioloid, or some C lib, or even a serial protocol used that I can send over a serial comunication...

I find the "Bioloid Control" software, but its need to install a diferent software on the bioloid and I want a simple direct control from Pc in a interactive way or a command line way to download a new program to the bioloid..

I going to share any finds that I made and after I learn the necesary things I going to star the monobotics bioloid support...

Cheers,!!

Mauricio

libbioloid, which you commented on in the other thread, fully supports development on Linux, in fact it's easier on Linux than it is on Windows.

I see you've joined the robots distribution list, post some of your issues there and see whether any other users could help out.
