Dear friends:

After I builded several robots described on Quick Start Guide, I have finally build the Humanoid.
I have a problem I never found before: The Dinamixel ID14, which the left knee, is flashing continuously...also it acts very strange: in every movement, the servo goes to wierd postions, causing the falling of the robot.
I have change the Dinamixel for a brand new unit, setting the ID to 14 as the old one. The behavior is exactly the same.

Any suggestion or advice could very very useful for me, thanks in advance

Hi Merlin

I think that might be an issue with a damaged cable (or maybe even the connector on the servo that is above this one).

Have you tried replacing the cable with a different one and also, maybe connecting this servo to another servo.

I don't have much experience with the Bioloid but when we were at BETT we did see a servo having a strange behaviour and it turned out to be the cable.
Replacing the cable solved the problem.

Pedro.

Hi Pedro, thanks for your suggestion.

In fact, I replaced the cable also and the problem persist, so I concluded it was an error made by me during the Humanoid construction.
And it was!
The servo was placed in wrong position and for this reason, it experiments this strange behavoir.

After I corrected this minor issue, the Humanoid begins to play in the way we expect... in the first try, the robot fall off to his back during the 3 or 4 steps of walking.
This was corrected using the Offset functionality on Motion Editor in no more than ten minutes and the robor was ready to walk and dance.

It was astoning see in front on my eyes the robor doing all we have seen in YouTube!!
I am very exciting with the possibilities to "teach" him with new positions and movements. I practice karate from 14 years and I should teach it a lot of beatiful movements and sequences.

Thanks again and best regards
