Hi

Any ideas how to change the comms baudrate on the Bioloid? There is a Baud command that doesn't seem to work for me.

<<baud>> command is to change your PC/Robot Terminal Baud Rate.

If you want to change the baud rate of your AX-12, you need to send the command << write 4 1|3|4|7|9.... >> The number 4 means the address of the baud rate configuration of the AX-12. while the number 1,3,4,7,9... coninsides with the table u find in the pdf file which describes the speed of connection.

If you change the the baud rate of the AX-12 and you did not change the baud rate on the robot terminal , you would not be able to connect at all. You will get an error for no responce.(something like that).

Sorry, I didn't explain. It is the PC to CM-5 comms speed I am trying to change. I have wireless serial modules that won't go to 56700 baud so I want to slow things down, both on the CM-5 and on the software if possible.

If I can't then I have to go and buy some bluetooth serial modules which don't come that cheap, and aren't that easy to source in the UK it would appear..
