Hello
I just recieved my Bioloid Beginners Kit and got very exited. Since I am a beginner I started with the Examples first. Most went fine except the Walking Droid. I downloaded the file using the behavior control program and started it.

After an initial movement of the feet, the motion stops. I get a [invalid Page Read:0002] message on the terminal. I believe this has to do with the motion file but I am not sure and I am just following the supplied examples from the DISC.

Motion list[DemoExample(Walking Droid)].mtn
Motion list[DemoExample(Walking Droid)].txt

Does anyone have an idea ?

Greatly appreciated

Ronald

have you fixed the problem?
if not, maybe u should change the motion file from default to droid.
hopefully this might help.

cheers,

Hello Ryan,
I've been out of the loop for some time but was unable to fix the problem. You mentioned

"maybe u should change the motion file from default to droid"

Where in the program can I make this change ?

Regards,
Ron

Under program (BCP ) choose change robot file...then you can see walking droid.rbt option, click on it and restart your BCP. it should work.
Hopefully it helps.

Cheers,

My Bioloid needed the motion data uploading. Connect the Bioloid to the PC and open the Behaviour Control Programmer. Now transfer the relevant BCP to the Robot. Now transfer the relevant motion data to the Robot using the neighbouring menu item.

The menu items are:

Management -> Update CM5: Use this to load the 115.hex file from the CD into the Robot. You only ever need to do this once.

Management -> Robot Motion: Use this to load the motion file (standard or modified) to the robot. You MUST do this before you run the behaviour control program.

Program -> Download: Use this to download the BCP to the robot.

Disconnect the robot and press start!

Now go and buy loads of 20mm fuses to replace the ones you blow when you haven't built the robot properly. If this happens it'll appear as if the robot has lost all power. We've all done it :)
