Hello,

Gives any chance to repair or flash the CM-5 Boot Loader ?

Is the Boot Loader in CM-5 Firmware update integrated ?

Have any people the same problem with the CM-5 as yet ?

Why going the CM-5 Boot Loader damaged ?

Sorry Robo-Tech but what you posted doesn't read too well. Is it possible for you to give some sort of context to your posting please?

The boot loader is supposed to be in place always but it seems that under some circumstances (probably a weak power when writing) is possible to overwrite it when performning other writings. This is second time I hear about this problem in this forum so it seems unlikely but possible.

Once the boot loader is broken I doubt it can be replaced because there is no other software within the CM5 that allows you to update the code or even to load a program (which would eventually perform the update).

I am afraid the only solution is send the CM5 to Robotis.
Perhaps Robotis should take note of this problem.

By the way, I understand you have tried to enter boot mode under Robot Terminal, did you ?

Hello,

I attempted many times with the Robot Terminal, by pressing # key,
but no boot mode seem.

Sorry, but any data transfer to CM-5 is no possible,
all attempts break out, all LEDs go OFF !
