So, my brother Dave has been working diligently to create a really cool and useful Win32 command line utility for interacting with devices on a bioloid bus.

Here's the help file: http://www.huv.com/bioloid.htm

The project wiki page (very rough) is here:

http://www.bioloid.info/tiki/tiki-index.php?page=Bioloid+Command+Line+Utility

You download an installer, run it, and it creates a "bioloid" folder under your Program Files directory, and adds that to the path. You can look at the help file above (which is also included in the installation) for usage instructions.

Please let me know here if you have any issues or questions. If anyone uses a CM-5 in passthru mode, can you please test this and let me know if it works?

Nice idea. It'll be nice to have another tool in the toolbox.

btw. Installer download link appears to be broke.

Try it now - I'm not sure what was wrong, but I edited the page, and it seems to work now...

We now have a version of this that works on the gumstix (and should work on any standard linux distro), so if you're interested in that, let me know...

Hi Jon

Just wanted to let you know that it works perfectly with CM-5 in Toss mode.
On top of that i can tell you that i'm running AX-12's and RX-64's on the same string and that it works beautifully.

Job well done :)

Kindest Regards
/Stig.
