I only have a white screen, also after disconn/conn the cm-5, with 1 servo attached, so the terminal also seams not to work, what the mbp and the motion editor did. I also tried to set the baud rate of the com port from the standard 9600 to 57k, but this also didnt help.
also I have to mention, that other features of the servo, like current position read, or similar things seam to work nice (I tried to turn off the motor, read position while turning by hand,...), but as soon as I want to implement a position command, the error occurs and/or they make weird things like described (endless turning when programmed with the official "ax-12 move" standard procedure, for example)
this happened to me from servo #1 to #3, and I didnt try further so far...
Am I really having an obvious problem? Seems like I´m stuck in the beginning...
