I don't get it, why was it difficult to make it walk forward?
Doesn't it come preloaded with that gait?

Nice, looks more natural than stock gait, more like a human gait. It's clear in this vid how the gait frequency and natural sway frequency of the bot are well matched, quite tricky to do. Are you mixing in gyro?
