I'm not trying to start a 'Mine is better than Yours' but I noticed for the first time the Bioloid Forum has overtaken the Robonova Forum in terms of both Topics and Posts.

Seems this must be some measure of the strength of the Bioloid following.

Innovation and product development must surely be paramount in the bot market place and Robotis do seem to be up there leading, certainly in the mass market affordable to most of us.

Please Robonova fans I'm really not product bashing, just musing a little.

Now if only Honda had a £1000 Asimo are well!

It is great to see the continued support and comitment from Robotis is paying off. Their own support website is getting better too in terms of content and opennous. The partnership on Darwin looks important for us all, 2011 could be as exciting as 2006 when Bioloid started shipping.

If you look at the forum posts, the Robonova shipped at this time in 2005, so maybe we should have a 5th birthday party. So 5 years despite little development or support outside the normal break/fix from Hitec, is a pretty good run for this classic humanoid.
