Prolonged use of AX-12

I was using my Bioloid comprehensive humanoid the other day for prolonger use in a demonstration.

I found after a while the robot started making a squealing/ screeching noise. I wasn't sure if these were the servos or the plastic joints.

Also the actions of standard programs started planning up randomly. In the demo program, the dance example, the left arm wasn't lifting at the start but did later in the routine. I found if I turned it off for a while it started to work fine again. I was thinking maybe a heat issue?

Has any one else had these troubles before?

Thanks

Did you see the LED of the not working servos blinking?

The servos will automatically shut down when they heat up so you do not burn the motor.

By what you described was what happened, when you play a motion and the servo is in "safe mode" it does not move, but when it get colder starts to move again.

Thanks :) it's odd that it did it in the same spot of the routine every time though!
