I was wondering if i is possible to program the Bioloid to make sounds on command, like a series of beeps which can be different wavelengths and amplitudes or something like that...?

Bertha,

You can easily make sounds using RoboPlus Task and the CM-510. There are 27 different notes (frequencies) and 16 different melodies already built into the firmware. You invoke them using the Buzzer Time and Buzzer Index values in RoboPlus. The demonstration program Humanoid_A has numerous examples of how this is done.

If that's not enough, you can direclty control the buzzer using embedded programming. The speaker is connected to PORTB on pin 5.
