hello,
sorry for my English I am obliged to use a translator.
I would like to know for what are used the ATMEGA8 to place in each AX12+. Because isn't the presence of ATMEGA128 enough it not to control the servos?

Thanks

The Mega8 receives and decodes the serial commands from the CM5 and controls the servos motor as instructed. It also returns feedback in the form of temp, servo position etc to the CM5 when asked.
