Hello,

I received a bioloid premium equipped with a CM-530 board.
I would like to use ROS.

Did anyone try to do this ?
If not, what would you suggest ?

Thanks in advance,
Fabien

ROS requires Linux somewhere.
The easiest way to start is to use a bluetooth interface or the bioloid zigbee.
link the serial wirelessly to a remote PC running linux and control the servos via ROS. you will have to write the ROS interface modules on top of the serial interface.
the next level is to put an embedded linux on the bioloid like an android stick or Rpi and interface to the controler and servos via usb at higher speed.
