you are right, timing bet driven

sorry, it is my past university research project, video contain some copyright protected information. not allowed to post. and this robot stay in university lab, can't make any new video

i did more than walk, it can run, if you defined running as two feet leaving ground together.

but i have to say belt drive is not a really good idea. it involved assembling difficulty and more mechanic problems. less advantage

i did another design, which considering easy make and assemble

one of my friend just did a prototype(manually cut), a simple version of fast stepping algorithm is used

Does the hip arangement allow for much lateral movement? It looks like it might impinge a bit at some point.

45 degree inside lateral rotation,
outside lateral rotation will not impinge

Have you started having the parts fabed yet?

I'd like to see it. It reminds me a bit of a bot called UMI-ONE or OMNI-ONE that a japanese guy used to compete with.

What program do you make the models in?
