Hi all, I'm planning to build my own biped using the cheaper stepper motors but I'm not sure if this is such a good idea in the long run. I'm looking for suggestions and opinions.

Servos: more expensive but easier to control
Steppers: cheaper, but tedious to program.

the MCU is an AtMega324P from AVR

My opinion: Stick with servos. They Just Work[tm].
