Hi,

I want to start in the nice world of home made robots. My ultimate goals is to build a humanoid. But before that I want to create some simpler robots to learn everything.
I did already some reading, but there are still some tips I need. If I understand correct, as motors I should go for servos. Normal ones for the humanoid, but 360 degree ones for driving cars. Did I understand this correct?
Second, I need a controller. There is a huge amount of different ones. I have 2 main requirements
- I need to be able to control around 20 servos.
- I want to be able to offload all logic to my PC (in c# or Java) trough zigbee.
So i create a simple controll loop on the controller and send data back and forth to the pc.
I hope someone can give me some advice on the board.

With kind regards,
Patrick
