I did not hear from Ayu in quite a long time, so never saw it walk.
The video of the 1 leg butterfly compared to that of the Robonova, does not look as strong, but I think some walking action could be achieved.
The barriers to walking are not just physical. To develop gaits for a new robot is a long demanding task. Especially when using servos like these where the current position cannot be read.
It is an interesting mirror to previous thread on scaling up robots and whether the servo torque to size ratio is linear.
I hope someone gets this working
