The vstone robovie robots don't use servo feedback in their software and their robots have some of the best motions. You just move sliders around that represent the servos. (Doesn't the Kondo heartbeat software work this way too?)
I believe feedback is important, but it really is not as important for manually making motions as I thought it would be. Wrestling a robot and the software is not so easy. Now if I had 3 hands and voice control of the software I'd probably change my mind.
