I'd suggest getting a USB-to-serial converter, and then using one of the excellent serial servo controllers. Pololu makes a great one for $20 (controls 8 servos), and Lynxmotion's SSC-32 controls 32 servos for $40 (though is, of course, considerably bigger).

No URLs handy, but Google is your friend.
