I want to make parts to turn my robonova into something similar to an omnizero. So I want to make the 3-d model brackets and get them 3-d printed. But I am having trouble using google sketch to make these parts. Any advise would be appreciated.

A few thoughts:
1. Make sure you work through the tutorials on sketchup site
2. Look on the web for other tutorials - there lots of youtube videos etc
3. Look on the web for 3D models you can re-use or modify- you may find you need other program to help convert file formats
4. Add dimensions - areas too thin or too close won't print
5. Keep it simple to start with and do it bit by bit
